Challenges Faced:
The client proposed a parking solution involving four shafts with
different dimensions:
Shaft 1 & Shaft 4: 12000 mm (L) x 8000 mm (W) x 4200
mm (H), Pit Depth – 6000 mm
Shaft 2 & Shaft 3: 5000 mm (L) x 6900 mm (W) x 4200
mm (H), Pit Depth – 6000 mm
The architect suggested a Puzzle Parking System with a +2,-2 configuration for all four shafts, accommodating
60 cars. However, challenges arose:
Shafts 1 & 4 needed a tandem system as they had a single-sided driveway.
Shafts 2 & 3 were too small to efficiently accommodate the puzzle parking system, making it a non-feasible
solution.
